Online Baseline Concussion Test

The ImPACT™ System (Immediate Post-Concussion and Cognitive Testing) is a comprehensive and computerized concussion screening program developed at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center . It is the most widely used computerized concussion evaluation system, and its use worldwide among professional, college and high school sports teams continues to grow rapidly.

Impact Urgent Care is pleased to offer the test online.

It is recommended that athletes undergo baseline testing every two years.  In the event of an injury, the athlete repeats the test.  A comparative analysis of the pre-test and post-injury test by a doctor trained and certified in how to read the tests, will best enable the doctor to assess the degree of an athlete's concussion, and develop a treatment plan that ensures they are fully recovered and may safely return to play.

Research has shown that returning to play before a head injury (concussion) is fully healed can lead to both short-term and long-term problems.
